# London Season Opener to launch the 2026/27 season at BrewDog Waterloo
London Table Football will begin its 2026/27 Championship season with three days of competition at BrewDog Waterloo from 28–30 August.
The London Season Opener will be an official British Foosball Association Challenger tournament, featuring 16 competitions played across 10 Tornado tables.
The event has been designed to bring the whole table-football community together at the start of the new season, with competitions for different ages, categories and playing levels.
## The season starts here
After the summer break, the Season Opener will give players the opportunity to return to competition, reconnect with the community and begin earning points in the new London Table Football Championship season.
The programme includes Open, Women’s, Mixed, Masters, Over-50, Semi-Pro, Amateur and Under-19 competitions, together with two Monster DYP events.
Whether players are chasing the first major titles of the season, preparing for international competition, entering their first larger tournament or simply coming for the atmosphere, there will be an event for them.
## Friday: mixed, senior and Monster DYP action
The weekend begins on Friday 28 August with Over-50 Singles, Over-50 Doubles and Open Mixed.
At 8pm, the focus will move to the first Monster DYP of the weekend.
Players enter the Monster DYP individually and compete with multiple partners during the event, making it an ideal way to meet other members of the community and start the tournament weekend without arranging a partner in advance.
**Friday 28 August**
* 1pm — Over-50 Singles
* 1pm — Over-50 Doubles
* 3pm — Open Mixed
* 8pm — Monster DYP
## Saturday: a full day of doubles
Saturday features doubles competitions for Masters, Semi-Pro, Open, Women’s and Amateur players.
The day concludes with the 2 Ball Monster DYP, bringing the fast-paced Rollerball format to BrewDog Waterloo on Saturday evening.
**Saturday 29 August**
* 10am — Masters Doubles
* 10am — Semi-Pro Doubles
* 2pm — Open Doubles
* 2pm — Women’s Doubles
* 6pm — Amateur Doubles
* 8pm — 2 Ball Monster DYP
## Sunday: singles and junior competition
Sunday brings the tournament to a close with Open, Women’s, Semi-Pro and Amateur Singles.
The programme also includes free Under-19 Singles and Doubles, creating an accessible opportunity for junior players to experience a major competition on Tornado tables.

* 9:30am — Under-19 Singles
* 10am — Open Singles
* 11am — Women’s Singles
* 2pm — Under-19 Doubles
* 3pm — Amateur Singles
* 3pm — Semi-Pro Singles
## Ten Tornado tables at BrewDog Waterloo
The tournament will be played on 10 Tornado tables at BrewDog Waterloo.
Located immediately beside Waterloo Station, the venue offers a highly accessible central-London location together with food, drinks and a lively social setting for a full weekend of table football.
The combination of serious competition and a welcoming venue will make the Season Opener suitable for experienced tournament players, newcomers and spectators alike.
## Find your partners
Most of the weekend’s doubles competitions require players to arrange a partner.
The programme includes:

* Women’s Doubles
* Amateur Doubles
* Free Under-19 Doubles
Players who need a partner can contact London Table Football or post in the community WhatsApp group with the event they would like to enter.
No partner is required for either Monster DYP.
## Registration is open
Players must register for their chosen competitions through Coral.
Event tickets can be purchased through Coral or through the London Table Football website. Anyone purchasing tickets on the LTF website must also ensure that they are registered for the relevant events in Coral.
Under-19 Singles and Doubles are free to enter, although junior players must still complete their event registration.
Competition capacities are limited, so players are encouraged to confirm their entries and partnerships in advance.
