MetaMax B: Second League Champions!

METAMAX B: SECOND LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!

Huge congratulations to MetaMax B who are the Champions of the London Foosball League - Second League! Well done to all of the players who have contributed to a successful season.

In the end MetaMax B closed out the season with a very hard-fought 7-7 draw against closest rivals Greenwich Cutty Pups. This match went right down to the wire, and with just two legs remaining the title was still undecided! In the end the team steered by Captain Niek Tax prevailed to take home the gold - very well played!

MetaMax B had a mixed start to this season, without a win in their first two matches, however a run of three convincing wins put them in pole position to claim the title in the final round of matches.

We will be holding a trophy and medal ceremony for the London Foosball League - both the 1st and 2nd League - at the upcoming London Championship.
